Inclusive by Design

SEND isn’t an “extra”; it is our core. By perfecting our teaching for those who find learning hardest, we create a better experience for everyone.

Our Vision

What we offer local authorities and schools

We provide more than just a matching service; we offer a “team around the child" model. While every child is paired with a dedicated tutor, the placement remains under continuous SENCO oversight. We remain active and accountable throughout the provision, providing our tutors with the strategic leadership necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes for every student.

We exclusively deploy Fully Qualified Teachers and SEND experts—never assistants or trainees. To ensure total peace of mind for schools and commissioners, our team is rigorously vetted following Safer Recruitment procedures. Our tutors are:

    • Enhanced DBS Checked (verified and up-to-date).
    • Safeguarding Trained: Including Prevent Duty and FGM awareness.
    • Trained in Cognitive Load Theory and Rosenshein’s principles of Learning as a matter of course.

As a SENCO-led organisation, we possess extensive experience in drafting, implementing, and monitoring Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). This expertise allows us to expertly tailor our provision to align with each pupil’s specific needs and long-term developmental goals.

Our in favour approach focuses on how learners process information, not just what is being taught. We eliminate generic "one-size-fits-all" resources in favor of lessons expertly crafted to reduce Cognitive Load and break down barriers to learning. By applying proven educational learning theories, we facilitate accelerated progress for even the most complex learners.

Our Process

We strictly adhere to the Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycle to ensure every child consistently makes clear, measurable progress.

Each block of learning begins with standardised assessments to identify specific misconceptions. We repeat these assessments termly to gain a clear, data-driven picture of your child’s progress and any emerging gaps in their understanding.

Using our assessment data, we set SMART targets (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) for the term. We then curate a bespoke learning journey that breaks down these goals into small steps of teaching.

We provide high-quality, evidence-based teaching rooted in Cognitive Load Theory and Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction, utilising proven strategies such as small-step teaching and guided practise to move students towards independent mastery. For children requiring more bespoke assistance, our SEND Specialist Tutors provide a highly adapted curriculum to address the underlying barriers to learning, drawing upon more specialised support strategies included Colourful Semantics and the Zones of Regulation. To reinforce new skills, we can suggest and provide bespoke homework that directly matches our lessons, ensuring practice is purposeful and aligned with their current goals.

At the end of every week, you will receive a Session Report that outlines exactly what was covered and provides a clear update on the progress made toward your child’s specific termly targets.

I have extensive experience teaching children with a range of additional needs (including autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and Speech and language difficulties) and I am an expert in reducing cognitive barriers to learning. I support all the children that I teach to make accelerated progress, regardless of their starting point. Contact me if you would like help with homeschooling, private lessons or SEN support.

Jourdan Bull

Fully Qualified Teacher and Private Tutor in Northamptonshire
I’m Jourdan. I’m a fully qualified primary school teacher with six years of experience teaching in the UK and internationally. I’ve worked mainly in Key Stage 2, teaching Year 3 to Year 6 across two different curriculums, which has really broadened my understanding of how children learn best. My experience has taught me how to adapt lessons to suit different learning needs, and how to help each child feel seen and supported.
For the past four years, I’ve worked abroad with children from a wide range of backgrounds, many of whom speak English as an additional language or have special educational needs. This has helped shape a flexible and thoughtful teaching style that always puts the child first.
I believe that before children can make progress, they need to feel secure, confident, and understood. That’s why I focus on building trust and developing each child’s sense of self-belief. Once a child feels confident, they become far more open to learning and more willing to try.
My tutoring sessions are adventurous, engaging, and tailored to the individual. Whether your child needs help catching up, growing their confidence, or deepening their understanding in subjects like reading or maths, I’m here to help them thrive. Not just academically, but personally too.

Emma Harvey

SEN Specialist Tutor and Dyslexia Assessor
My name is Emma. I am a fully qualified teacher and a specialist dyslexia tutor and assessor. I have over 20 years’ experience in education, including teaching in primary classrooms and in specialist SEN schools. My particular interest is in supporting children who learn differently. I enjoy adapting my lessons to suit each learner’s unique profile, including their strengths, interests, and specific starting points.
In my most recent teaching role, I led an Enhanced Pathway for ten SEN pupils as they transitioned into secondary school, and I also provided KS3 literacy interventions for individuals and small groups. Having enjoyed working one-to-one and with small groups, I recently stepped away from class teaching to focus on private tutoring, and I am excited to work again with a wider age range of learners. Having taught from Early Years through to KS4, I bring a thorough understanding of child development and curriculum progression to my tutoring practice.
As a dyslexia tutor and assessor, I provide full diagnostic assessments and write individualised reports outlining the learner’s strengths and needs, with bespoke recommendations to support future reading, writing, and spelling. I also deliver tailored one-to-one specialist tutoring using multisensory approaches, helping learners capitalise on their strengths, understand their challenges, and develop practical strategies that unlock learning.
I combine supportive, personalised teaching with practical, multisensory approaches to make learning fun, engaging, and effective. Building positive, respectful relationships is central to my approach. I take time to listen to each learner, helping them feel valued and secure. This approach supports pupils to build confidence, recognise their strengths, and develop skills they can use independently, both in the classroom and beyond.

I’m Ashleigh. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 5 years experience working across a range of year groups.
